Biltmore at Christmas was a must for us, and when we got there the snow did fall. It was beyond beautiful, but sooooo cold. The house is big and not heated (or at least we didn’t feel any heat) so be sure to bring warm clothes and good shoes. Hot chocolate is for sale as are other hot drinks. This place should be on everyone’s holiday bucket list for the amazing decorations and time travel experience that comes with visiting the castle. (PS: Spring is also wonderful with all the gardens blooming and the fresh green leaves on the trees.)

Thanks to Modern Belle Online for this nice overview of making a visit to Biltmore during the holidays.
