Halloween International Film Festival
The festival returns to Kill Devil Hills, NC October 25-27, presented by OBX Entertainment, featuring independent films from around the world, including many world premieres, visiting filmmakers, cast, and crew, as well as Q&As, meet & greets, and nightly photo ops on the Orange Carpet. All Festival film screenings will once again be shown at RC Theatres Movies 10 in Kill Devil Hills, starting at 1pm each day. (OuterBanks.com)

Enjoy trick or treat games, live music and entertainment all day long, face painting, animal encounters, interactive activities, Child safety station, and Pumpkin Palooza, where our animals get pumpkins, throughout the zoo! Sept 29 – Nov 18, Huntersville. This event is a cornucopia of sights, sounds, smells, and tastes. Nearly 1,000 artists that specialize in all types of creative mediums work each Festival day to throw the region’s largest costume party. Check out our review of this amazing event

4th Annual North Carolina Wine Festival
October 27 – Raleigh. The grape tour continues… The longest running and largest wine festival in North Carolina returns this fall! (Local Wine Events)
Lighthouse Beer & Wine Festival
October 27 – Wilmington. Explore the world of hops, grapes and grain at the Lighthouse Beer & Wine Festival featuring over 100 craft breweries and wineries in one place. (NC Wine)
Quilting
Southeastern Animal Fiber Fair
Friday, October 26- Sunday, October 28. See spinning, knitting, weaving, felting, and much more. The event is located at the WNC Agricultural Center, in Fletcher, NC, across Hwy 280 from the Asheville Regional Airport. (Exit 40 off I-26). Admission will be $5/person per day. $10 pass for 3 days. Youth under 13 yrs. old will be free. (Quilters’ Travel Companion)
