Oct 25 – 28, Benson. A Southern tradition for 69 years, this four-day festival is packed full of mule events that celebrate the “beast of burden” and the role of mules in rural farming. 4th Annual North Carolina Wine Festival
October 27 – Raleigh. The grape tour continues… The longest running and largest wine festival in North Carolina returns this fall! (Local Wine Events)
Lighthouse Beer & Wine Festival
October 27 – Wilmington. Explore the world of hops, grapes, and grain at the Lighthouse Beer & Wine Festival featuring over 100 craft breweries and wineries in one place. (NC Wine)

Southeastern Animal Fiber Fair
Friday, October 26- Sunday, October 28. See spinning, knitting, weaving, felting, and much more. The event is located at the WNC Agricultural Center, in Fletcher, NC, across Hwy 280 from the Asheville Regional Airport. (Exit 40 off I-26). Admission will be $5/person per day. $10 pass for 3 days.
