Christmas has always been a favorite time of the year for me. I love all the decorations, presents and wonderful food. Though I’m not fond of all the hoopla until after Thanksgiving, I do begin my holiday reading earlier.
This week I read Christmas in London by Anita Hughes. This is a sugar spun fairy tale that will tempt even the longest carb holdout. The holiday fair of scrumptious goodies makes this a mouthwatering tale. As a lover of cinnamon rolls, this was a mouthwatering read.
As a last minute stand in for a cooking show, Louisa Graham is whisked away from the bakery in Manhattan’s Lower East side where she makes her famous cinnamon rolls for her best friend. She dreams of owning her own bakery one day and this miracle Cooking Show stint (IN LONDON!) could be the answer to her prayers. Through friendship and hard work she might just find love too.
I hope you enjoy this holiday adventure and find something on your reading list soon. There is no time like the present to pick up a good novel before the rush of the holidays. Happy Reading!
